Exercise can improve your stamina. It improves your stamina by training your body to become more efficient and use less energy for the same amount of work. Exercise strengthens and tones your body. Working out with weights develops your muscles, bones and ligaments making them stronger. With weight training, comes a better posture which then helps improve your appearance.
Exercise also helps improve your flexibility. Improving your flexibility reduces the chance of getting injuries as well as improving your balance and coordination. Exercise is key to weight control. The more you work out and burn fat the more calories you burn in the process. If you burn off more calories than you consume your body will maintain a healthy weight. And finally, Exercise improves the quality of life. Exercise reduces stress, helps you sleep better and even can improve your mood. So now what is considered regular exercise?
Regular exercise is determined by your workout frequency. If you are beginner to working out, it is recommended that you work out about 3 times a week for 45-60 minutes. This will help your body recover in between the days you don't work out so you don't injure any of your muscles. It is vital that you do not overdue working out in the beginning because you are at a much higher risk of injuring your body. It is always better to take it slow then overdue it and be out of commission for a long period of time. If you are more advanced, it is recommended you work out 5 days a week for 60 minutes while incorporating some weight training. The most important step before and after working out is stretching. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner at working out or advanced, you must always stretch. Stretching before a workout allows the body to become more pliable and less prone to injury it also reduce muscle tension, and makes the body feel more relaxed.
Most people find that when they stick to the same routines of working out they get bored and tend to stop working out altogether. The best way to not get bored with your workout routine is to add lots variety as well as making sure it is fun and exciting. Your goal is to look forward to working out every day rather than dreading it. Exercising comes in so many different forms such as riding bikes, kayaking, hiking, walking, running, playing sports and so much more. If you incorporated just one form of exercising that you enjoy, you will much more likely to stick to a regular workout routine.
